Problem solved:

We had a little security warning issued on our site.  The problem was in an external file that was linked to by some of our internal files on our websites (www.kinkengineering.com, www.sheetlatex.com, www.elasticaengineering.com, www.msrubberworld.com, www.knockoffknockdown.com… gee… we have a lot of URL’s!)

So, if you are seeing, or did see an alert like the one above, never fear all potential malware and/or intrusion has been cleared and our site is safe travelling.  If you are still seeing a warning, that should go away in the next day once Google’s online database of “infected sites” re-checks ours and gives it a pass again.

No user data was touched (that’s locked up tight) and there really was no malwear on our site… only a link to a site that linked to some malware/spam.

I am a fan of “better safe than sorry”, but there was not actually anything wrong with our site - it’s the online equivilent of us having a friend who has a friend who once dated a convicted shoplifter.
