Vacbed Science: A Customer Compares his Kink Engineering Vac-products:
We have a customer who enjoyed his Kink Engineering Vacbed (purchased in 2009) so much that he also got hold of a Vac-Cube, and a Vac-Tower so that he could try and share with his friends ALL of the great experiences from Kink Engineering. Here’s his thoughts on the products.

Q: How are your three products from Kink Engineering holding up to use?
A: Having had them over a year, the toys are holding up OK.
The vacbed got a hole in it because I was not careful when putting the frame together. Now that it’s been back to you for repairs (nice job by the way - I love the Kink Engineering Logo overlay you used to hide the repairs!) it’s back in business and as good as ever.
The cube took some damage during a play session, then a bit more during the repairs (latex + zipper bag = BAD), but we got it fixed locally as the damage was not too bad. The repairs seem to have enhanced the effectiveness of the neck even.
The Vac-tower has done great. Holding up quite well despite some very rough usage.
Q: How would you compare the three products?
A: Overall the vac-tower gets a better reception. More comfortable, more exposed than the cube so more parts available to tease, and with the head out it suits people that the head-in vacbed freaks out. The longest session with the tower is about twice as long as the cube.
People seem to have a tough time finding a spot they can stay for long term in in the cube. The neck seals really well, which is exactly the opposite of what I was expecting.
So overall…
Vacbed: Highest comfort, except for some people who have breathing/claustrophobia issues. [Note: He chose a head inside design with “Face Relief with Tube” style breathing option] The wide bore breathing tube really helps here, along with the face relief. The longest, most intense sessions have been in the bed.
Vac-Cube: Can be uncomfortable. The neck seal tends to pinch if the person is not lined up properly, difficult to find a good position to kneel/sit in. Padding under the cube helps. It’s less accessible as the body parts you want to reach tend to be hard to get to. It makes for a good short-term bondage comedy - Good at a party for short rides, but not as good for long scenes. The PVC piping scares people at first, as it creaks a LOT when you flip and turn the cube - but holds together surprisingly well. Hardest to assemble.
Vac-Tower: Much more comfortable than the cube, neck still pinches sometimes but tends to annoy people less. The best option for teasing, as both sides are nicely open to touching/spanking. Tends to scare new users until they realize that A) its NOT as unstable as it looks, and B) the creaking of the frame when the person struggles isn’t a problem (same as the cube). Probably the easiest of the three to assemble once you know how.
