To see what I mean by “off the table with hand in reverse prayer position” check out the curved shoulder seam work that I’m doing in this video at the ~3:00 mark.
I have left hand under the bottom part and right hand guiding the top part into place. I work about 1” of seam at a time then re-adjust. You need to be careful not to leave a ton of wobbles in the seam, so a really consistant curve and pressure are key.
Practice, practice, practice.
This technique is super important if you want to do some really sharp bends like in the nose/chin of a hood. It’s not beginner stuff… but it’s always good to start trying it out before you need to use the skill.

Yes. We’ll be bringing laser cut gears to the store in a few weeks. We will do individual gears, and gear sets that are all set to the same gear tooth ratio (so they actually inter-link).
Why the delay?
We are just on our way to Fetish-Con in Florida next week then a quick trip to House of Gord in Seattle (and a few days OFF in the woods of BC!!!)
I need to do some final layout work on the gears (now that we’ve worked with them and have a better idea of how to get them to be easy to work with) so those will be on-line sometime around mid-August.
I built my first latex based vacbed in 2007 when my girlfriend (and now business partner) Archean and I started exploring our fetish side more deeply. The first bed included a lot of early designs that have evolved into the standard features in the current product, after a lot of design cycles to get them just right.
